The Institute has started a UGC sponsored Instruments Maintenance Facility (IMF) center with the aim to provide the facility of repairing and servicing various instruments used in different Laboratories.
A medical camp was organized in Dudheswar slum area to test diabetes and blood pressure of 100 persons under the extension activities of UGC. Booklets containing complete details on Cancer, Diabetes, and AIDs, prepared in the Gujarati language by VISA club of our Institute were distributed in the area.
A UGC sponsored State Level Seminar on "Frontiers in Chemical Sciences" was organized on 25th and 26th March 2008.
A GUJCOST sponsored State Level Seminar on "Chaos Theory" was organized on 10th and 11th April 2008
6th Volume of a National Level Journal entitled "Advances in Biological Sciences" was published under the Editorship of Pri. Dr. B.K. Jain
